Product Description

MaxElastic® PUR BIT is a one-component, liquid
product ready to use, based on bitumen-polyurethane
resin that provides a protective waterproofing
elastomeric membrane for suitable for concrete and
cement-based mortar substrates.

How to Apply
Supplied ready to use; stir with a slow-speed drill (400–600 rpm) until a homogeneous paste is obtained. On porous substrates the first coat may be thinned with 5–10 % MAXSOLVENT®; where the substrate has residual moisture, prime with MAXEPOX® PRIMER-W at 0.2–0.3 kg/m². Apply by brush, roller, rubber squeegee or airless spray in two coats, leaving 8–12 hours between coats until tack-free. Reinforce corners, joints and cracks by embedding DRIZORO® VEIL E-60 polyester veil between two 0.9 kg/m² coats. Allow 7 days curing at 20 °C before permanent water immersion.
