As a single waterproofing membrane: 0.8–1.0 kg/m² per coat — 1.6–2.0 kg/m² in two coats. Roof waterproofing to ETAG 005: 1.0 kg/m² per coat, total 2.0 kg/m² in two coats (W2) or 3.0 kg/m² in three coats (W3). On facades and walls: 0.25–0.30 kg/m² per coat — total 0.50–0.60 kg/m².

Product Description

MaxElastic® PUR HW is a one-component, water-based, hybrid polyurethane resin, that once applied provides an elastomeric and continuous waterproofing membrane, UV stable and water ponding resistant, suitable for all type of roofs and outdoor areas.

How to Apply

How to Apply
All substrates must first be primed with the water-based epoxy primer MAXEPOX® PRIMER-W at 0.20–0.30 kg/m² per coat, left to dry tack-free for 12–24 hours. Supplied ready to use: stir for 2–3 minutes with a slow-speed drill (300–400 rpm) until uniform in colour. Apply by roller, stiff hairbrush or airless spray in two crossed coats, allowing 6–10 hours drying between coats. Reinforce cold joints, non-active cracks and detail points by embedding a 10–20 cm strip of DRIZORO® MESH 58 glass-fibre mesh in the fresh first coat and covering it with the second. Substrate moisture must stay below 10 % and application temperature above 5 °C. Cure 1 day before pedestrian traffic and 7 days before the flooding test.
