Product Description

MaxElastic® Stone is a mixture of water based acrylic resins and fine graded aggregates. It is a synthetic mortar ready to be used as wear protection over surfaces waterproofed with MaxElastic® This application will protect against damage caused by pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Spread by trowel, to provide a continuous and decorative coating.

How to Apply
Remove poorly adhered coatings, grease, dust and efflorescence; roughen smooth surfaces by sandblasting or high-pressure water, and repair defects with a structural mortar. Stir the content of the drum with a clean, dry tool or mechanically with a mixing disc at low speed (300–400 rpm). Apply by trowel, rubber squeegee or airless spray in one coat of 2–3 mm; if an additional coat is needed, apply it within 5–18 hours depending on ambient conditions. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Allow a minimum curing time of 7 days at 20 °C and 50 % R.H. before watertightness testing.
