Product Description

MaxSeal® M is a single component mortar made of a mixture of cements, selected aggregates, special additives and synthetic resins which provides a high-performance waterproof coating for concrete and masonry. It can be used for both positive and negative pressure.

How to Apply
Saturate the prepared substrate with clean water and drain the excess, leaving no standing water. Mix a 25 kg bag with 6.5–7.0 litres of clean water (27 ± 1 %) using a low-speed drill (400–600 rpm) for 2–3 minutes, leave to rest 5 minutes and re-mix briefly for 1 minute. Apply with a fibre brush (MAXBRUSH®) or nylon broom (MAXBROOM®) as a thick, continuous coat about 1 mm thick — not spread like paint and without overworking the fresh coating. Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first after 12–16 hours (24 hours maximum); it may also be applied by roller or trowel for decorative finishes, or sprayed by wet method. Allow 3 days before covering with tiles, renders or gravel and 10 days curing (20 °C / 50 % R.H.) before permanent immersion, pre-washing the surface with a water jet.
